1813 to 1880 Baptism Project Wolferton St Peter |
Baptisms 1813 to 1880
Wolferton parish sits on Norfolk's
west, Wash, coast to the north of King's Lynn and west of the busy A149
coastal road. A very lightly populated area even today this was always
a parish with a small number of parishioners and most devoted to agriculture
in various forms. What passes for a village centre, a small group of loosely
packed farmhouses sits by the dead-end road that connects the A149 and
the church. |

These records were transcribed from Microfilm
MF1703 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. This is a very recent
filming and the clarity reflects the advances in filming tachnique in recent
times. A very clear image with excellent contrast. Subject to the usual quibble regarding hand-writing this was a fairly strait-forward transcript to prepare and it is to be hoped few errors will have crept into it. |
