1813 to 1880 Baptism Project Tatterford St Margaret |
Baptisms 1813 to 1880
Tatterford, a small village little more than a hamlet, sits in the head-waters of the River Wensum to the south-west of Fakenham and south of the former Fakenham to King's Lynn turnpike. The village has always been a small parish totally devoted to the cultivation of the land. St Margarets Church was re-built in 1862 and is little more than a chapel. Plans for a tower were later abandoned leaving the small single room structure. The grounds are pleasantly situated on rising ground at the north end of the small group of properties that forms the centre of this agricultural parish |

These records were transcribed from Microfilm MF1528 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. They were extremely clear and easy to read - a pleasure to transcribe. |
