Ringland Wesleyan Chapel

Baptisms 1813 to 1880

The Wesleyan community in Ringland was founded in the early 19th century with a chapel erected in 1832. This small congregation lasted at least as long as the 1882 return of religious institutions but with a baptism register running only from 1841 until 1854. This register is a typical Methodist register with 4 entries across each folio and is held by Norfolk Record Office as their deposit FC27/50a and filmed on Microfilm MF1728. The records are clearly written and consequently this was a straightforward piece to prepare.
