Baptisms 1813 to 1880
The parish of Morley St Botolph sits in a broad agricultural
plain in central Norfolk. The parish lies south-west of the market town
of Wymondham and to the north of the main A11 Norwich to London road.
Morley St Botolph is part of a twin parish with St Peter which lies to
its south-west. The centre of the modern parish lies around a cross-roads
where the Wymondham to Deopham road crosses the road from the A11 to Wicklewood.

The register from which these records are transcribed is filmed on Microfiche 6 & 7 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. This is an elderly filming and the images are often poor and faded. Despite these failings the standard of handwriting was rather good for the most part and as such this was a fairly straightforward transcript to prepare. |
