Matlaske United Methodist Free Church Circuit

Baptisms 1813 to 1880

The United Methodist Free Church (UMFC) Circuit based upon the small east Norfolk village of Matlaske was created in 1866 from the wider circuit based upon Sheringham & Cromer. Despite the tiny size of the congregation it survived for almost 80 years before the merge into the United Methodist Church absorbed it. A single baptismal register covering the transcript period is deposited at Norfolk Record Office as their deposit FC59/52 and this is filmed on Microfilm MF1725 in their collection which was used to prepare this short transcript.
