1813 to 1880 Baptism Project King's Lynn New Conduit St Congregational Chapel |
Baptisms 1850 to 1880
This small congregationalist chapel was founded in the port of King's Lynn from the early 19th century, its records begin in 1821 with a list of members and most records finish at the turn of the 20th century with another sole members list from 1959 indicating continuation into the late 20th century. This short transcript was collected from Norfolk Record Office deposits FC10/3 & FC10/2 both filmed on Microfilm MF1620 in their collection. There would appear not to be any digitised imagery of these records. The standard of record keeping is poor with many events only partially recorded to date and many recorded with parents simply as initials, presumably the congregation knew who the relevant parties were. |
