1813 to 1880 Baptism Project Holt Wesleyan |
Baptisms 1815 to 1837
The Wesleyans established the Holt circuit in 1815, this was an offshoot of the Walsingham Circuit and covered the market town of Holt plus a greater part of eastern North Norfolk. The only records which have been deposited for the circuit are those required by the Civil Registration Act in 1837. These records were deposited with the National Archives whose filming is held as a copy in the Norfolk Record Office on Microfilm MF1159. The filming is regrettably rather poor with many records rather feint and difficult to read. Whilst every care has been taken to read and transcribe these records accurately on this occasion it cannot be guaranteed due to the condition of the film and the standard of handwriting. |
