1813 to 1880 Baptism Project Felmingham St Andrew |
Baptisms 1813 to 1880
Felmingham village lies in north-central Norfolk between North Walsham and Aylsham. A winding B-class road connects the two market towns and Felmingham lies astride this road with a further extension to the south past St Andrews. St Andrews church consists of two distinct phases, the massive squat tower at the western end is much older dating from the end of the 15th Century whereas the main body of the church is a brick rebuild of the 18th Century. To my eye the two parts sit in slightly incongruous juxtaposition. |

These records were compiled from microfilm MF966 in collection of the Norfolk Record Office. The filming was, by and large, of a good standard and the legibility was also better than average. Hopefully not too many errors will have occurred with this transcript. |
