1813 to 1880 Baptism Project Brisley St Bartolemew |
Baptisms 1813 to 1880
Brisley is a compact small village lying in central Norfolk,
situated on the B1145 it is north-west of Dereham and south-east of Fakenham.
The village is neat and tidy on top of a low rise giving views across
the surrounding countryside. The common to the east of the village centre
is typical of so many communal areas that were lost in the enclosures
and is an asset to the village. |

These records were transcribed from Microfilm
MF`1422 in the collection of the Norfolk Record Office. This, a recent deposit
and filming, was an excellent piece of filming with a good clear and contrasty
image - a pleasure to view. Subject to the usual caveat regarding the standard of the encumbant's handwriting, which at times was rather eccentric, there should be few errors which have crept into this transcript. |
