Baptisms 1813 to 1881
This city centre church was located in the wealthy merchant's quarter but served a tiny physical area, bounded to the north by St Peter Hungate, to the east by St George Tombland and St Peter per Mountergate, to the south lies St Michael at Thorn whilst to the west are St Peter Mancroft & St Andrews. The area was also bounded by the area of the castle keep. Today this is a busy shopping area and the church is no longer used for services and has a new purpose as a cafeteria and antiques shop. | |
Transcribed from fiche 9 of the registers of Norwich, St Michael at Plea. The fiche is the filmed record of Norfolk Record Office deposit PD066/5.
